With these words she hung up I the phone. She was a smart woman. I know she will find her way back in no time.

Few days back I was reading Chariots of the Gods – a book which states that beings from another universe came to the earth to help the ancient civilizations on this planet to achieve new heights. Among the ancient civilizations mentioned in the book the Maya Civilization, a North America based civilization amazed me the most. Situated in the northern part of central America, the mesoamerican ancient civilization is well known for their architecture, art, culture, language and the knowledge of science. The area of Mayan civilization include some states of Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Belize and Western Honduras.

It is said that the Mayans possessed a vast and accurate knowledge of astronomy and mathematics. That’s not all they were the first to invent an accurate calender that comes with minute specifications of astronomical events. They used accurate astronomical knowledge to make the calendars. The calenders are synchronized and interconnected in different ways forming extensive cycles. They even knew the Venus cycle accurately.
