As the big daddy of the economic world is going to choose its policy maker for the next four years, every nation waits earnestly to know the outcome. The results of the US elections will not just decide the future of the country but will also have a major impact around the globe. Two major contenders – John McCain, a Republican and Barack Obama, Democratic nominee- are putting their best in order to reserve the highest seat in White House for themselves but no one for sure can say anything as it is going to be really close. Although the experts have predicted Obama leading the race but along with a note of caution – there are more than ten swing states, which can turn the face of the event.
The election of the Democratic nominee, Barack Obama will bring cheers among the African nations and can put them on better terms with United States as his being half African. He is also favored by the Muslim community of the world who more than hates the Republicans especially George W. Bush after his gruesome crusade against the Muslim nations.
John McCain scores points with Europeans who will be at their best to see him in White House as Republicans are believed to be more predictable and pro-European. For Asian countries cards are yet to be opened. Both the candidates have a mixed bag for the Asian countries.
November 4, 2008 is probably the most awaited day in the whole world. Media, Financial institutions, Economists, policy makers almost everyone is all keeping an eye on the event which is going to prove a major block in deciding the future events of the world..
