What could be more charming than a month’s vacation to Asia? I mean, thats what me and Fred kept arguing about. He was more interested to make it to the Bahamas, and spend his long earned vacation in the sunny beaches. But this time I was gonna win. I was adamant on the fact that I would visit Asia no matter what the odds were. I was particularly interested in visiting India. The country really caught my imagination. Apart from that there were so many interesting countries to be visited in Asia. Hailing as the largest continent of the world, I knew time would run out before I could fruitfully visit a single country and explore it completely.
Housing the world’s largest population, I knew I would be in a lot of surprises in terms of the various races and ethnic cultures I would come across. Pulling out my travel map I made a detailed study of the continent. Originating from a single landmass ‘Eurasia’, the continent is bounded by the Indian, Pacific and Arctic Oceans. On western portion of the continent, lies Europe. It also shares its borders with the Caucasus and Ural mountains. A few brisk phone calls followed. My travel agent Michelle informed me that the tourist season was on, and already flight bookings were at its peak. But she assured me that she would definitely try to avail a booking for us and get back to me in no time. Assuringly she smiled and said that my trip to Asia would be a very eventful one. Thanking her, I hung up on the phone and pulled out my travel gear. I was already roaring with anticipation. Well…Asia…here I come!!
